Imaging Service Engineer II for our HTM team at
Lowell General Hospital in
Lowell, MA. The Imaging Service Engineer II will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced imaging systems in a hospital environment, while ensuring a high level of customer service and equipment reliability.
What You'll Do- Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair complex diagnostic imaging equipment, including but not limited to General X-Ray, Cath Lab, CT, C-Arms, Ultrasound, and Mammography systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools, test equipment, and software.
- Collaborate closely with clinical staff and healthcare teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve equipment-related concerns.
- Ensure all service activities are documented accurately within departmental tracking systems.
- Maintain compliance with hospital, departmental, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide emergency technical support when needed.
- Support a safe, reliable clinical environment by minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring optimal device performance.

What You Bring- Strong working knowledge of diagnostic imaging systems and their operation.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex imaging technologies.
- Proficiency with common tools, test equipment, and imaging diagnostic software.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
- Experience collaborating with clinical teams and supporting end-users in a healthcare setting.
- Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred; military training or OEM certifications are a strong plus.
- Proven ability to manage documentation, service records, and workflow within HTM tracking systems.

Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
Minimum Functional Experience - 5 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
