Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Data bricks and strong experience in migrating legacy data platforms, specifically DB2 and Ab Initio, to modern cloud-based data ecosystems.The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end architecture, define migration strategies, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance production data solutions.

Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and design enterprise data architecture using Databricks (Lakehouse architecture preferred)Lead migration initiatives from DB2 databases and Ab Initio ETL systems to modern cloud platformsDevelop migration roadmaps, architecture blueprints, and implementation strategiesProvide technical leadership to data engineering teamsEnsure data quality, governance, performance optimization, and security best practicesCollaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutionsConduct architecture reviews and recommend modernization strategies

Required Skills & Experience10+ years of experience in Data Architecture / Data EngineeringStrong hands-on experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, PySpark)Strong knowledge of Databricks design patternsStrong experience implementing production-grade data architecturesProven experience migrating from:DB2Ab InitioStrong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data modelingExperience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)Experience handling large-scale data transformation and performance tuningStrong architectural documentation and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to HaveExperience in large enterprise modernization programsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data platformsCertification in Databricks or cloud technologiesFinance / Banking domain experience
