Senior Network Engineer (Routing, Switching & Network Security) - $67 CTC - ONSITE (MUST be WI resident)

Location Requirement: Onsite or Remote?  The position is on-site. Candidate MUST be a WI resident. No relocation is allowed. Position is 100% within the state of WI.

A Network Engineer III - senior-level technical professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure. This role requires advanced expertise in networking technologies and the ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff. A Network Engineer III is a senior- level technical professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure.

Network Design & Implementation

• Design and architect enterprise-level network solutions including LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center networks Implement and configure advanced routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS)
• Deploy and manage network security solutions including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS systems
• Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime

Operations & Maintenance

• Monitor network performance and optimize for reliability, speed, and security
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis
• Maintain network documentation including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with service providers

Security & Compliance

• Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Conduct network security assessments and vulnerability testing
• Respond to security incidents and implement remediation measures
• Stay current with emerging security threats and mitigation strategies

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead network infrastructure projects from conception to completion
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, security, and application teams

Required Skills & Years of Experience
5 years or more of experience in the below:

• Advanced Bridging and routing integration technologies
• Trouble shooting LANs, WANs, and wireless
• Proficient Firewall, ACLs, business to business access, Remote access
• Network design
