SAP Plan-to-Produce (P2P) Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Plan-to-Produce (P2P) Consultant with strong functional expertise in SAP PP and related manufacturing modules to support end-to-end planning and production processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across demand planning, production planning, execution, and integration with procurement, inventory, and finance in complex SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support end-to-end Plan-to-Produce processes:
• Demand Management & Forecasting
• Production Planning (MPS/MRP)
• Capacity Planning
• Production Orders & Execution
• Goods Issue / Goods Receipt
• Configure and support SAP PP:
• BOMs, Routings, Work Centers
• Production versions
• Planning strategies & scheduling
• Integrate SAP PP with:
• MM (Procure-to-Pay)
• SD (Order-to-Cash)
• FI/CO (Costing, settlement, variance analysis)
• Support shop floor execution and manufacturing processes
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams
• Support UAT, cutover, go-live, and production support
• Analyze and resolve production planning and execution issues
• Ensure compliance with business controls and manufacturing best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAP PP (Production Planning)
• Deep understanding of Plan-to-Produce / Plan-to-Manufacture lifecycle
• Experience with MRP, capacity planning, production execution
• Strong knowledge of BOMs, routings, and work centers
• Integration experience with MM, SD, and FI/CO
• Experience in SAP implementations, rollouts, or support
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP
• Exposure to Advanced Planning tools (PP/DS, APO, IBP)
• Experience in manufacturing / automotive / consumer goods industries
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Make-to-Order / Make-to-Stock
• SAP PP or S/4HANA certification
