Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong healthcare domain knowledge to work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, technology teams, and healthcare SMEs to analyze business requirements and translate them into clear technical and functional solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on healthcare applications, healthcare workflows, data, regulatory requirements, and enterprise systems, along with strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, process analysis, and Agile delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Requirements Analysis

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and requirements workshops.
  • Translate business needs into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Identify gaps between current and future-state processes.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, SMEs, developers, QA, and architects.

Healthcare Domain

  • Analyze healthcare business processes and workflows.
  • Work with healthcare data and applications related to:
    • Patient/member information
    • Claims and billing
    • Provider management
    • Eligibility and enrollment
    • Healthcare benefits
    • Clinical and administrative workflows
  • Understand healthcare data standards and regulations such as HIPAA.
  • Support requirements involving healthcare integrations and data exchange.
  • Collaborate with clinical, payer, provider, and healthcare operations stakeholders as applicable.

Process & Solution Analysis

  • Create As-Is and To-Be process flows.
  • Identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and system gaps.
  • Develop functional specifications and solution documentation.
  • Analyze system integrations, APIs, data flows, and downstream/upstream dependencies.
  • Support data mapping and validation activities.

Agile & Delivery

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Create and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
  • Support UAT planning, test scenarios, defect clarification, and business validation.
  • Track requirements through implementation and release.

Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Perform data analysis using SQL.
  • Validate healthcare data and identify data-quality issues.
  • Create reports and dashboards using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Analyze trends and provide insights to business stakeholders.
