Job Title: Business Analyst - Previous experience in the automotive industry

Location: Dallas, TX (On-site 3 days a week)

  • Agile Experience (Expert): Demonstrated experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum) with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Requirements Gathering (Expert): Proven experience conducting meetings/workshops with business users and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Product Backlog Management (Expert): Proven track record of collaborating with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog and manage scope effectively.
  • Technical Expertise & Integrations (Expert): Strong understanding of software development processes and system integrations. Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL is preferred.
  • Process & Cloud Knowledge (Expert): Familiarity with Business Process Management (BPM) and cloud technologies.
  • Tools Proficiency (Expert): Experience with JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft tools for reporting and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather, refine, and document business and technical requirements aligned with strategic goals.
  • Business Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes (as-is), design improved processes (to-be), identify inefficiencies/gaps, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • User Mapping: Develop user personas and journey maps to understand user needs across business processes.
  • Collaboration: Partner with development teams and solution architects to translate business needs into functional specifications, business rules, and UI/data requirements.
  • Documentation & Design: Create clear documentation, including functional design specifications, user stories, process flow diagrams, and deliverable process flows.
  • Agile Ceremonies: Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and assist Product Owners in roadmap development and estimation.
  • Testing & Validation: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts, ensuring solutions align with business requirements and quality standards.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Mentor and transfer knowledge to client project team members.
