Network Administration Manager

Long Term Contract | Onsite | Midtown Manhattan, NYC

Our client is a renowned New York City performing arts and cultural institution dedicated to entertaining, enriching, and expanding a global community through performance, education, and advocacy.



Position Overview

The Network Administration Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong project management abilities, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment.



Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain robust network systems to support organizational operations.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of network professionals, promoting collaboration and professional growth.

Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans outlining objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Resource Management: Efficiently allocate and manage resources to optimize project performance.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and implement strategies to mitigate them.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and achievements.

Continuous Improvement: Conduct thorough evaluations post-project completion, gathering feedback and lessons learned to enhance future practices.



Qualifications

5 years of proven experience in network administration and management.

Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project execution.

Exceptional communication skills, including clarity, active listening, and tailored communication approaches.

Ability to provide constructive feedback and manage conflicts effectively.

Proficiency in using project management tools and fostering transparency in work processes.

Commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to changing circumstances.



Work Schedule

This is a fully onsite position, Monday through Friday, at the organization's Midtown Manhattan offices.
