SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Functional Consultant with a strong background in end-to-end implementations and warehouse process optimization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP WM configuration and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and project teams.

 

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP WM functional area
• Must have led 2–3 end-to-end SAP WM implementation projects
• Ability to conduct and lead all business process workshops related to Warehouse Management
• Strong expertise in SAP WM configuration and implementation, including:
• Warehouse structure
• Picking strategies
• Shipping processes
• Handling Unit Management
• Fixed Bin Management
• Batch and Serialized Management
• Inventory Management
• Inbound/Outbound processing
• Physical Inventory
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently with IT and business stakeholders
• Strong coordination skills to collaborate effectively with the IBM project team
• Experience in delivery processing and ability to write Functional Specifications (value-added skill)

 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct explore workshops and perform Process Gap Analysis
• Assign Plant / Storage Locations to Warehouse Number and perform organizational structure configuration
• Create SIT test cases for WM, plan and manage SIT, and resolve UAT defects
• Support cutover activities and Hypercare
• Update existing process and configuration documentation based on implementation changes
• Work with ZPE to define physical warehouse layout and bin structure prior to system configuration
• Execute SIT for SAP ECC Warehouse Management functionalities, including:
• Inbound Put-away
• Outbound Picking
• Internal Transfers
• Physical Inventory

 

Functional Responsibilities

• Configure and unit test SAP according to PAC template requirements
• Support testing cycles and Hypercare activities
• Manage activities for respective areas along with the Client Functional Lead
• Guide Functional Consultants and client team members
• Report workstream progress, risks, and issues to project management on a weekly basis
• Escalate risks and issues impacting project timeline or quality to the IBM Project Manager
