Job Description

• Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database.
• Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves ERP database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.
• May require a bachelor's degree.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Skills/Requirements:

• SKILL YEARS USED Strong DBA experience in working with Oracle 19c and Oracle 26ai 10 years Required 10 Years
• Experience in supporting Databases in OCI Required 2 Years
• Experience in supporting Oracle Databases on premise. Required 2 Years
• Experience in Migrating Oracle databases to OCI Required 2 Years
• Experience in Migrating COV Agency Oracle databases to OCI Highly desired 1 Years
• Must be familiar with 19c Oracle RAC and ASM (Automatic Storage Management) on Linux Required 3 Years
• Must be familiar with Dataguard Physical Standby. Required 3 Years
• Must have experience with RMAN backup and recovery Required 10 Years
• Other skills include export and import data pump utilities, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Performance tuning, Security, Patching and documentation Required 5 Years
• Must possess strong troubleshooting skills. Required 10 Years
• Must have strong communication skills, verbally and in writing. Required 10 Years
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required 4 Years
• Experience supporting Linux or Unix System Administration, a bonus. Required 3 Years
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification Highly desired 3 Years
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2019 or newer Highly desired 3 Years
