Job Description

We are seeking a Software Developer Contractor to join our dynamic team supporting our client project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Snowflake development, data modeling, version control with Git, and data migration and a proven ability to design, develop, and optimize data-centric applications and integrations that meet business requirements and performance targets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize software applications based on user needs and business requirements.


• Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake data models, pipelines, and integrations.


• Analyze and design databases within application areas, coordinating development with team members as needed.


• Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues across environments.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.


• Ensure application quality and performance through testing, monitoring, and maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of Snowflake experience, including SQL, schema design, warehouses, roles, and security.


• Hands-on experience with data modeling and performance optimization in cloud data platforms.


• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.


• Experience delivering data migration initiatives, including validation and reconciliation.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to quality and performance.


• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in cross-functional settings.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating Snowflake with ETL/ELT tools and CI/CD pipelines.


• Background in Agile/Scrum with incremental delivery and code review practices.
