Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Windows servers, workstations, LAN/WAN/VLAN, switches, and routers
Plan and perform server/workstation security patches and updates
Monitor server, workstation, and network performance
Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
Monitor backups and conduct restore testing and capacity planning
Maintain and test disaster recovery procedures
Monitor antivirsecurity threats and coordinate remediation
Manage IT change control and technical documentation
Support security planning, penetration/perimeter testing, and annual IT reviews
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
7 10+ years of systems/network administration experience
Strong Microsoft Windows Server and endpoint administration experience
Strong LAN/WAN, VLAN, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting knowledge
Experience with backup/recovery, DR, infrastructure monitoring, and cybersecurity practices
Strong documentation and problem-solving skills
Recommended Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server / Azure Administrator or equivalent, CCNA / CCNP, CompTIA Security+, CISSP beneficial for senior/security responsibilities
