Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Birmingham, AL is seeking a senior-level Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to support a large-scale modernization initiative focused on CI/CD pipeline migration, secure application deployment, and platform engineering. This role will play a critical part in migrating enterprise deployment pipelines from UrbanCode Deploy (UCD) to Harness while helping improve deployment automation, platform reliability, and DevSecOps standards across the organization.

This is a highly hands-on engineering role centered around deployment operations, CI/CD pipeline support, OpenShift-based deployments, GitHub administration, and secure delivery practices. The ideal candidate will have deep experience working in enterprise Windows environments, deploying .NET applications, and supporting containerized workloads in OpenShift.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the migration of enterprise CI/CD pipelines from UrbanCode Deploy (UCD) to Harness
* Design, support, and optimize secure CI/CD deployment pipelines
* Manage and support GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and deployment workflows
* Deploy and support applications across Windows and OpenShift environments
* Assist with containerization initiatives and OpenShift platform deployments
* Implement and maintain secure DevSecOps delivery standards and CI/CD best practices
* Support secrets management initiatives utilizing HashiCorp Vault and related tooling
* Troubleshoot deployment, environment, and pipeline-related issues across multiple environments
* Assist with logging, monitoring, and performance validation activities related to deployments
* Develop and maintain lightweight scripting and automation using PowerShell and Bash
* Partner closely with platform engineering, development, security, and infrastructure teams to support release and deployment operations

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong hands-on experience with GitHub administration and CI/CD workflows
* Production experience working with Harness
* Experience deploying applications within OpenShift environments
* Strong experience supporting deployments in Windows server environments, including IIS
* Proven background designing and supporting secure CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
* Experience deploying and supporting .NET applications
* Experience with PowerShell and Bash scripting
* Understanding of logging, monitoring, and deployment troubleshooting practices
* Working knowledge of SQL and database-related deployment considerations
* Ability to work independently and contribute immediately within an enterprise deployment environment

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
* Terraform or Infrastructure as Code exposure
* Experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management solutions
* Exposure to platform engineering or cloud-native deployment environments
* Experience supporting enterprise-scale CI/CD modernization initiatives
* Familiarity with container resource management and Dockerfiles
* Background working in regulated enterprise environments such as banking or financial services

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
