Quality Assurance Consultant /Automation Tester

Position Details:

Title: Quality Assurance Consultant /Automation Tester

Duration: Contract duration 1 year (extended)

Location: Plano, Texas OR Addison, Texas- Hybrid 3 day s in office

Interview Process: 2 Rounds (1st - Virtual and 2nd In-person or Virtual)

Compensation: $50-$52/hour

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Running agile ceremonies, daily stand up calls


• Completing testing work, manual test cases for a functionality or project


• Data set up


• Test execution


• Capturing all evidence as per requirements - good documentation skills


• Automation activities using Selenium and Java.

Must-have/key skills needed:

• 5+ years experience testing and exposure to hands on Automation Testing


• Java, Selenium


• Manual Testing, API Testing


• UI Web based applications


• Ability to automate what they are executing manually, understand the existing framework in java and selenium


• Understand the application, going beyond the story in Jira to understand the project and add value - find the gaps in testing.


• Must work independently


• Banking/Payments experience.

Pluses:

• SOAP for manual testing


• Octane is nice to have
