Leidos is seeking a
Computer/Network Support Specialist to ensure the reliability and security of mission-critical systems and networks. In this role, you'll maintain infrastructure, troubleshoot outages, and support security authorizations while working in a collaborative, high-impact environment at our customer site in Suitland, MD.
Primary Responsibilities:- Diagnose and resolve local area network (LAN) issues, providing timely event notifications.
- Use diagnostic tools (e.g., visual fault locators, Ethernet testers) to maintain optical and copper cabling.
- Image, maintain, and repair end-user hardware including workstations, phones, and printers.
- Communicate scheduled upgrades and maintenance activities to stakeholders.
- Create and maintain accurate site documentation using Visio.
- Deliver first-line end-user support and escalate tickets when necessary.
Required Qualifications- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI.
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with 2+ years of experience OR Equivalent experience, training, or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline (e.g., Security+ CE) or the ability to obtain prior to start date.
- Active CCNA certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Proficiency with Cisco configurations (EIGRP, BGP, SNMP, TCP/IP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, NAT, GRE, IPSEC).
- Experience with packet capture, traffic analysis, and vulnerability remediation.
- Strong understanding of the OSI model and multi-protocol routing (VRF, VPN, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, VPLS).

Pay Range:Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
