ServiceNow CMDB Systems Administrator

Description

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Systems Administrator to join our team in Riverdale, Utah. This contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and optimize hardware and software assets while ensuring accurate and efficient system integration. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with IT teams and maintain the integrity of the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the management and reconciliation of hardware and software assets using ServiceNow's Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Implement and optimize ServiceNow Discovery to accurately identify and track IT assets.
Perform integrations with tools such as Qualys and Workspace ONE for comprehensive endpoint management.
Ensure data accuracy in ServiceNow by auditing and reconciling independent systems to meet compliance standards.
Collaborate with IT teams to maintain and improve ServiceNow's software asset management processes.
Conduct regular system audits to address compliance requirements and identify areas for improvement.
Configure ServiceNow to support evolving IT service management needs, including service mapping.
Provide hands-on support for integrations and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
Build strong relationships with IT personnel to facilitate smooth maintenance and system enhancements.

Requirements

Proven experience with ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB functionalities.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and its role in asset management.
Hands-on experience with integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools such as Qualys or Workspace ONE.
Expertise in software asset management and configuration management processes.
Familiarity with service mapping within the ServiceNow platform.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for system audits and reconciliation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse IT teams.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
