Frontend Developer – React JS 

Location: Onsite 
Experience: 5+ years of software development experience, including 1+ years of experience on Next.js development

 

Job Summary 

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend development. The candidate should be capable of designing and developing scalable, responsive, and maintainable web applications while collaborating closely with backend, UX/UI, QA, and product teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js. 

  • Build reusable React components, hooks, and frontend libraries. 

  • Develop applications using JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript. 

  • Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services. 

  • Manage application state using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Context API, or equivalent approaches. 

  • Implement responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, and modern styling frameworks. 

  • Optimize application performance, rendering, and page-load experience. 

  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis. 

  • Perform code reviews and ensure frontend coding standards and engineering best practices are followed. 

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, QA, product owners, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment. 

  • Provide technical guidance to other developers and contribute to frontend architecture and design decisions. 

Required Skills 

  • Strong hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js 

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript 

  • Excellent understanding of React Hooks, component lifecycle, functional components, and reusable component design 

  • Experience with Redux / Redux Toolkit or similar state-management solutions 

  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, Flexbox, and CSS Grid 

  • Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs 

  • Working knowledge of Git and modern CI/CD development practices 

  • Experience with frontend build/tooling ecosystems such as npm, Vite, or Webpack 

  • Good understanding of browser compatibility, accessibility, security, and frontend performance optimization 

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills 

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with Next.js 

  • Familiarity with GraphQL 

  • Experience with component libraries/design systems such as Material UI, Ant Design, or Tailwind CSS 

  • Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure 

  • Experience with Cypress or Playwright for end-to-end testing 

  • Understanding of microservices and API-driven architectures 

  • Experience working with distributed onsite/offshore engineering teams 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience developing enterprise-scale applications. 

  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards such as WCAG. 

  • Familiarity with frontend observability and performance-monitoring tools. 

  • Experience identifying and resolving frontend security vulnerabilities.
