Requirements:
- Procurement experience involving sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management
- Strong proficiency with SAP or a similar ERP system
- Knowledge of purchase-order processing and procurement documentation
- Strong project-management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience with Microsoft Teams
- Manufacturing or logistics experience preferred
- Knowledge of MRP, production planning, and materials management preferred
- Forecasting experience is a strong plus
- Proactive, self-motivated approach to problem-solving
Job Duties:
- Process purchase orders and track procurement activity in SAP
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier records
- Coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, quality, and project teams
- Support production planning and material availability
- Monitor vendor performance and service metrics
- Investigate supply-chain disruptions and supplier concerns
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement in procurement and supply-chain processes
- Manage vendor relationships and assist with contract negotiations
- Provide forecasting and planning support as needed
