Cloud Security Analyst

Description
The Cloud Security Analyst supports the function by executing cloud security governance activities, including security reviews, risk assessments, and control validation across multi-cloud environments.
This role ensures that cloud-based solutions align with enterprise security requirements, industry standards, and regulatory expectations. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify risks, support remediation efforts, and maintain a strong cloud security posture.
Cloud Security Assessment & Governance
Conduct security reviews of cloud applications, services, and infrastructure
Evaluate solutions against enterprise security standards and control requirements
Validate cloud configurations across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform environments
Support governance activities aligned to security policies and compliance requirements
* AWS PREFERRED
Risk Assessment & Control Validation
Perform technical risk assessments and identify security gaps
Support remediation activities and track closure of identified issues
Monitor and report findings from cloud security reviews
Provide support during audits, incidents, and regulatory reviews
Collaboration & Security Integration
Partner with DevOps, architecture, and risk teams to integrate security into development workflows
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure secure design and operation
Contribute to secure solution design and implementation decisions

This is a Contract position based out of Washington D.C., DC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
