Summary

Core Responsibilities

1. Leads technical product management activities for multiple technical products, or one strategic technical product. Participates in the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution.

2. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.

3. Coaches technical product teams towards best practices and learnings. Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.

4. Partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.

5. Leads the planning, development and implementation of new technical products. Defines and analyzes technical markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.

6. Employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.

7. Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.

8. Participates in the team's engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.

9. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.. Minimum of five years related work experience.
  • Two years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven experience making product decisions that drive long-term value.
  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate strong knowledge across trade capture, trade lifecycle management, settlement, and related operational workflows. Familiarity with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and integration with upstream and downstream systems is essential.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, data flows, and integration patterns. Ability to engage deeply with engineering teams.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including senior investment management and fund ecosystem leaders, as well as technical teams.
  • Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-Starter & Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, operate independently, and thrive in ambiguous environments without extensive guidance.
