Manhattan Design Lead/Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Manhattan Solution Architect / Design Lead with deep expertise in Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (WM) to lead solution design, configuration, and extension development. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of Manhattan product capabilities, configurations, ProActive, extension packs, APIs, and configuration management, with the ability to translate complex warehouse business requirements into scalable and effective Manhattan solutions. Candidates must understand the functional and technical implications of design decisions, including warehouse location configurations, capacity tracking, pick-to-pack processes, and other critical WMS functionalities. Hands-on experience with retail operations, high-volume distribution centers, automation/MHE integration, and previous Manhattan implementations is mandatory.

 

The role involves a combination of new configuration and extension development, enhancements to existing configurations, and end-to-end implementation activities across the design, build, testing, and deployment phases. Candidates must be proficient in building and testing Manhattan extension packs based on business requirements, working with ProActive and APIs, configuring UI metadata, and ensuring solutions align with Manhattan product capabilities and warehouse operational needs. A minimum of 2+ years of relevant Manhattan experience is expected, with greater emphasis on hands-on technical expertise than overall years of experience. Candidates will undergo three interview rounds covering warehouse domain knowledge, Manhattan configuration expertise, ProActive, APIs, extension development and testing, and UI metadata configuration. Charlotte-based candidates available to work onsite are strongly preferred. No travel is required.
