Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr CAD

StaffRight Associates is recruiting an IT Infrastructure Systems Administrator for our client’s enterprise team in Toronto. This role is essential for maintaining the stability and security of a large-scale infrastructure supporting over 3,000 locations across North America. You will balance high-level systems engineering with hands-on operational support in a dynamic, evolving environment.
Core Responsibilities
Enterprise Administration: Manage and optimize Windows Server environments (2016–2022), Active Directory, and GPO to ensure 24/7 system availability.
Hybrid Infrastructure Support: Oversee AWS cloud environments alongside on-premises hardware, focusing on monitoring, troubleshooting, and general administration.
Incident Management: Dedicate approximately 50% of your time to resolving high-priority incidents and operational bottlenecks, partnering with internal teams for swift restoration.
Strategic Migrations: Play a key technical role in two major digital transformations: transitioning from JD Edwards to SAP and migrating service management from Remedy to Microsoft Dynamics.
Automation & Innovation: Utilize PowerShell, Power Apps, and AI tools to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a central point of contact between on-site teams, vendors, and leadership to coordinate complex technical solutions.
Candidate Requirements
Technical Experience: 3+ years in a Systems Admin or Infrastructure role within an enterprise-scale environment.
Core Stack: Deep proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory management, and server hardware configuration.
Modern Tools: Hands-on experience with AWS and a strong aptitude for using PowerShell and AI-driven tools for infrastructure automation.
App Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise platforms like JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or SAP is highly valued.
Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical issues for leadership and collaborate across diverse IT departments.
Physical & Travel: Ability to lift up to 20kg and travel approximately 10% between GTA and London offices as needed.
