Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infor LN Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Manufacturing Planning and Supply Chain processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Infor LN (or Baan ERP), specializing in Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Forecasting, and Planning Master Data Management.

The consultant will play a key role in designing, configuring, optimizing, and supporting planning processes within Infor LN while partnering closely with business stakeholders across manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Infor LN Planning processes.

• Support and enhance Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) functions.

• Configure and maintain planning parameters, planning policies, and item planning data within Infor LN.

• Manage and ensure the integrity of planning master data, including lead times, order policies, planning horizons, planners, and supply sources.

• Analyze and resolve planning-related issues, including shortages, inaccurate planning signals, inventory imbalances, and capacity constraints.

• Collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to align system functionality with business requirements.

• Support implementations, upgrades, system enhancements, testing, and production support activities.

• Perform root-cause analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance planning efficiency and operational performance.

• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, user training, and knowledge transfer activities.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Infor LN or Baan ERP in Manufacturing and Supply Chain environments.

• Strong functional expertise in:

  • Master Production Scheduling (MPS)

  • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

  • Forecasting and Forecast Consumption

  • Supply-Demand Balancing

  • Production Planning

  • Inventory Planning

• Deep understanding of planning master data structures and dependencies.

• Experience configuring and supporting Infor LN Planning modules.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multi-site or global manufacturing operations.

• Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, and process optimization initiatives.

• Exposure to complex manufacturing and supply chain environments.
