As the user base grows, the team is tasked with building features ranging from secure account management to complex data visualizations and interactive financial tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support native mobile applications while preparing documentation according to internal mobile best practices.
- Assess and optimize designs through architectural review and analysis to ensure high-quality user experiences across both phones and tablets.
- Create and execute comprehensive unit tests and automated UI tests to ensure stability across the spectrum of mobile devices.
- Support mobile systems in production, including resolving technical problems and troubleshooting bugs.
- Collaborate with Architects and Stakeholders to craft appropriate technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to elevate the team's technical proficiency.
Minimum qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in native iOS development.
- Expert-level knowledge of the Swift programming language and the iOS SDK.
- Experience building UI with SwiftUI and managing state/data flow using Combine.
- Proficiency in writing Unit Tests and Automated UI tests using the XCTest framework.
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and debugging network-related issues.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting build/deployment issues.
- Demonstrated experience in debugging complex memory and performance issues.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with reactive architectures and building native features as independent modules.
- Strong understanding of SOLID design principles and iterative development methodologies (TDD/BDD).
- Experience implementing native accessibility features, such as VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, facilitate, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Previous experience in enterprise-level application development.
