Hogan Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Hogan Developer to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This role will focus on Hogan application development, system enhancements, and ongoing production support while partnering closely with business and technology teams to deliver reliable, scalable banking solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on Hogan development experience, strong mainframe skills, and a solid understanding of core banking processes.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain Hogan applications within a mainframe environment
* Support core banking functions including deposits and related systems
* Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective system solutions
* Perform system enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements
* Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
* Participate in system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Create and maintain technical documentation related to development and system changes
* Collaborate with business analysts, system analysts, architects, and other developers
* Follow established development standards, change management processes, and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of hands-on Hogan development experience
* Strong experience in mainframe environments
* Proficiency with COBOL, JCL, and related mainframe technologies
* Experience supporting or developing core banking systems
* Ability to analyze requirements and implement technical solutions
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Hogan Deposits
* Background with other core banking platforms (Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry, Systematics)
* Experience using ALM, Jira, SharePoint
* Ability to write and analyze SQL queries
* Prior experience providing production support in a financial services environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
