A bit about us:Established plaintiff personal injury / medical malpractice firm in Nassau County is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work on sophisticated catastrophic injury and medically complex cases in a more quality-focused environment. This is not a high-volume PI "mill" - the firm intentionally maintains a manageable caseload and spends significant time/resources developing each case properly.

Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Assist attorney with all phases of litigation
- Draft and prepare legal documents
- Manage case files and litigation calendars
- Coordinate discovery, medical records, and authorizations
- Communicate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel
- Trial preparation and general litigation support
Requirements:
- Prior litigation paralegal experience required
- Plaintiff personal injury and/or medical malpractice experience preferred, but open to strong litigation paralegals coming from defense backgrounds as well
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage files independently and proactively
- Familiarity with NY litigation procedures and e-filing systems
