Job Title: SAP MDG (Maser Data Governance) Technical Analyst Location: Austin, TX( Remote/Hybrid) Duration: Contract/Full Time

Job Description

The SAP MDG Technical Analyst, Master Data (including but not restricted to Customer Master, Vendor Master, Finance and Material Master) is responsible for the design. development, deployment, coordination, and maintenance of SAP master data solutions, reporting, analysis, and execution. Coordinates and collaborates with all functional areas to ensure the deliverables of the master data.

Requirements:

  • 10-12 years of overall SAP Development Experience including 6 years or more in SAP MDG (Maser Data Governance).
  • MDG upgrade experience, experience in MDG implementation on S/4HANA
  • Experience is master data objects including Customer, Supplier, Material, GL, Cost Center, Profit Center, Cost Elements, Hierarchies, FSI, FRS, Custom data models.
  • Experience in Data Modelling, Process Modelling, UI Modelling, Business Validation Rules Modelling, Derivations, and Data Replication Framework (DRF).
  • Strong experience in SAP MDG technical framework includes BADI, BAPI/RFC/FM, Rule Based Workflows, BRF+, Enterprise Services, IDoc, SOA, Webservices, Floorplan Manager, WebDynPro, Fiori, and MDG API framework.
  • Knowledge of SAP data dictionary tables, views, relationships, CDS, and corresponding data architecture for ECC and S/4 HANA for various SAP master and transactional data entities including excellent functional knowledge for core master data objects like a customer, vendor, and material.
  • Experience in master data conversion in SAP MDG to other SAP systems and non-SAP target systems using IDocs and SOA
  • Experience in master data consolidation and Fiori apps
  • Experience in MDG interfacing with tools like ARIBA, DQM etc
  • Strong experience in MDG workflows, user interfaces and troubleshooting issues
  • Exposure in BODS and Info steward tools
  • Experience in data conversions (Finance and other master data) using SAP and non-SAP tools
  • Should be a team player and can work under tight timelines
  • Should be able to work with cross functional teams and business users to ensure the smooth delivery of development objects
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of SAP master data elements, processes, and configuration
  • Ability to write Tech Specifications, Unit test Scripts
  • Should have excellent oral and written communication skills
