Be Part Of A High-Performing Team: Join a data integration and orchestration team responsible for moving enterprise data from multiple source systems into modern data destinations used for reporting, analytics, and business operations. The team works with sources such as APIs, SQL Server, SFTP, flat files, SharePoint, and cloud storage, with destinations including Azure Blob, Snowflake, and related data platforms. This is a hands-on, fast-paced environment where practical engineering, data movement, reliability, and independent delivery are highly valued.
What's In Store For You: This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a senior developer who wants to focus on backend data integration work rather than UI-heavy application development. The role is onsite 4 days per week in South Park, Charlotte, NC, and is W2 only. The selected candidate will support current C#/.NET console application and ETL work while also gaining future exposure to Azure Data Factory, Python, Palantir Foundry, and AI-enabled data quality initiatives.
How You Will Make An Impact - Build and enhance C#/.NET console applications used for enterprise data integration.
- Connect to APIs, SQL Server, SFTP, flat files, SharePoint, Azure Blob, and other source systems.
- Extract, process, and move high-volume data into Azure Blob, Snowflake, or other data destinations.
- Maintain and support current ETL workflows using SSIS or similar integration tools.
- Help the team support current-state integrations while preparing for more Azure Data Factory work in the future.
- Troubleshoot API, file, data volume, SQL, and integration-related issues.
- Apply practical judgment when working with large data volumes, API limits, batching, and processing constraints.
- Partner with technical and business teams to understand data needs and deliver reliable integration solutions.
- Contribute documentation, support production processes, and help improve integration patterns.
- Bring a senior-level mindset with the ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
Do you bring proven success in C# console application development and data integration? - Minimum 2 years of hands-on C#/.NET console application development experience.
- Experience personally building C# console applications, not only supporting applications built by others.
- Strong experience using C# for data integration, API calls, file processing, automation, or source-to-destination data movement.
- Experience working with data integration workflows and large-volume data.
- Understanding of API concepts including endpoints, requests, responses, pagination/limits, and data retrieval.
- Experience with SSIS or another ETL/integration tool such as Informatica.
- Basic SQL knowledge required; SQL Server experience preferred.
- Experience with SFTP, flat files, SharePoint, Azure Blob, Snowflake, or similar platforms is helpful.
- Azure Data Factory experience is a plus for future-state work.
- Python experience is a plus for future data integration and Palantir Foundry opportunities.
- Strong listening, communication, problem-solving, and ownership skills.
- Must be comfortable working onsite 4 days per week in South Park, Charlotte, NC.
- Must be W2 eligible; no C2C or subcontracting.
