The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Epic Tapestry, Claims Connect, SQL, Jira, Microsoft Excel along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Epic Tapestry Consultant with expertise in Claims Connect to support implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Epic's payer platform. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of healthcare claims processing, payer workflows, EDI transactions, and Epic Tapestry modules. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, technical teams, and operational users to deliver high-quality payer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and support the Epic Tapestry Claims Connect module.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into Epic Tapestry configurations.
- Design and optimize claims adjudication and claims processing workflows.
- Support payer operations including claims intake, editing, pricing, adjudication, and payment processing.
- Configure provider reimbursement methodologies and claims rules.
- Collaborate with integration teams on EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277).
- Perform system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
- Create functional specifications and maintain system documentation.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
- Work closely with business users to identify process improvement opportunities.
Experience
5+ years in Epic Tapestry with 2+ years of Claims Connect implementation/support experience.
