Seeking a Senior Data Governance Professional with 20+ years of experience leading enterprise Data Governance, AI/GenAI Governance, and Cloud Data Strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Vertex AI/Gemini, with proven experience establishing governance frameworks, responsible AI practices, regulatory compliance, and enterprise-wide AI transformation.

Key Responsibilities

AI & GenAI Governance

  • Establish comprehensive risk assessment protocols for Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Multi-Agent Systems.

  • Ensure compliance with evolving global AI regulations, data privacy requirements, and corporate legal policies.

  • Define enterprise AI governance frameworks and Responsible AI standards.

  • Develop governance policies for AI model lifecycle management.

Autonomous Agent & Data Governance

  • Define policy and architectural boundaries for autonomous AI agents, including tool execution permissions and escalation protocols.

  • Architect data governance strategies for AI training, fine-tuning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

  • Manage access controls, model ownership, version governance, and secure API-based data exchange across enterprise systems.

  • Establish governance standards for enterprise AI data assets and metadata.

Value Realization & Financial Performance

  • Develop methodologies to measure and track ROI for enterprise AI and GenAI initiatives.

  • Define KPIs to measure operational efficiency, cost optimization, and revenue impact.

  • Monitor token utilization, infrastructure consumption, and compute costs while maintaining model performance.

  • Drive AI investment optimization through governance and financial oversight.

Executive Reporting & Enterprise Transformation

  • Translate complex AI risks and performance metrics into executive-level dashboards and reports.

  • Advise C-suite executives and board members on AI governance, enterprise AI maturity, and strategic roadmaps.

  • Lead enterprise-wide AI governance adoption and organizational change management initiatives.

  • Build a compliance-first, AI-ready organizational culture.

Required Experience & Technical Skills

  • 20+ years of enterprise Data Governance and Data Strategy experience.

  • Deep understanding of Generative AI, LLM architectures, Fine-tuning, RAG frameworks, and Autonomous Multi-Agent Systems.

  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), Vertex AI, and Gemini.

  • Experience with AI governance platforms, automated model monitoring, and enterprise risk management tools.

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise data privacy, data lineage, intellectual property protection, and cloud security.

  • Expertise in governance frameworks, metadata management, data quality, and compliance.

  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and board executives.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and enterprise transformation initiatives.
