About the RoleIn this contingent assignment, you will consult on high-impact, complex software engineering initiatives that influence strategic planning and long-term technology direction. You will evaluate multifaceted engineering challenges-often involving ambiguous, unprecedented, or intangible factors-and recommend solutions that align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
This role requires strong technical judgment, the ability to navigate complexity, and the communication skills to collaborate effectively with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities- Provide expert consultation on large-scale, complex software engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
- Analyze sophisticated engineering challenges that require deep evaluation of multiple variables, including non-quantifiable or novel factors.
- Develop recommendations and contribute to resolution strategies for complex situations involving policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with client personnel and technical leaders to influence strategy, planning, and solution development.
- Apply strong software engineering fundamentals to guide architectural decisions and project outcomes.
- Leverage Generative AI and applied AI tools to support analysis, solution development, and process improvements.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies (e.g., model integration, prompting, solution design).
- Proficiency with applied AI tools and workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and address complex technical scenarios.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-consultation skills.
