Senior AI Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Design, develop, and deliver innovative AI prototypes, custom applications, and enterprise AI solutions to address complex business challenges.Partner closely with Underwriting and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate business needs into scalable AI-driven solutions.
Build and enhance advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks, AI agents, and intelligent automation workflows.
Rapidly prototype and iterate AI solutions using modern AI development frameworks and AI-assisted engineering tools.
Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) that demonstrate business value and provide implementation blueprints for enterprise production teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, product owners, and business leaders to drive AI adoption.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to improve AI acceleration capabilities.
Create reusable AI components, architecture patterns, and best practices to support downstream industrialization efforts.
Apply strong engineering principles to ensure AI prototypes are secure, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical teams and business stakeholders.

"MUST HAVE" SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Strong experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI solution development.
Hands-on experience building AI prototypes, enterprise AI applications, and RAG-based solutions.
Proficiency with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and AI application architectures.
Experience with AI development frameworks and tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, Azure AI services, or similar technologies.
Strong programming skills in Python and experience developing production-quality software solutions.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
Knowledge of cloud AI platforms and enterprise application development practices.
Domain expertise in Insurance or Financial Services, including familiarity with underwriting processes and business workflows.

Experience working in agile, innovation, or AI accelerator environments.
Ability to independently drive projects from ideation through prototype delivery.
