Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Golang Software Engineer to join a Platform Engineering team responsible for building highly scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs supporting enterprise applications.

Important Notes:

Hybrid role with onsite work in Phoenix, AZ (typically 3 days per week).
Candidates must be available for an in-person interview in Phoenix, AZ.
Local candidates or those who can reliably commute to Phoenix are strongly preferred.

Required Skills:

4–8 years of hands-on experience with Golang (Go)
Strong experience developing REST APIs and Microservices
Experience with gRPC and Event-Driven Architecture
Hands-on experience with Kafka
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Strong knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Skills:

Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger
Financial Services or Loyalty/Rewards domain experience
Jira and Confluence
Open-source development experience

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Go-based REST APIs and microservices.
Build highly available and high-performance backend services.
Develop event-driven applications using Kafka.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
