Job Description
We are seeking an Operations Analyst to provide HR Business Partner (HRBP) coverage during a leave, ensuring continuity of day-to-day HR support, leader advising, and employee lifecycle activities for assigned business groups.
The HR Business Partner will operate as an individual contributor, partnering directly with managers and employees while collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to execute established HR programs, processes, and policies.
The focus of this role is steady-state HR execution and consultative support, rather than people management or ownership of HR strategy.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned managers and employees during the leave period.
- Provide credible, practical HR guidance aligned with business priorities, company policies, and standard HR practices.
- Act as a connector between the business and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure timely and effective resolution of people-related needs.
- Build strong working relationships with managers and employees across assigned business groups.
- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance on workplace matters.
Employee Relations & Performance Support
- Advise managers and employees on performance management, attendance issues, employee relations concerns, and corporate people movement.
- Support performance improvement plans, corrective actions, and involuntary exits in partnership with Employee Relations teams as needed.
- Help managers address workplace concerns consistently and in accordance with company policies.
- Promote a respectful, inclusive, and values-based work environment.
- Handle sensitive employee matters with appropriate judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Talent & Workforce Activities
- Support talent lifecycle activities, including hiring coordination, internal mobility, onboarding transitions, and separation processes.
- Assist managers in preparing for talent review discussions.
- Support follow-through on employee development actions and talent-related activities.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and other HR COEs to support recruiting and workforce needs.
- Provide execution support for workforce activities rather than owning HR strategy.
Organizational Health & Insights
- Use existing HR data, dashboards, and employee sensing tools to identify trends related to engagement, retention, and overall workforce health.
- Surface relevant insights, risks, and trends to business leaders and HR stakeholders.
- Provide clear recommendations and appropriate follow-up based on available HR data.
- Encourage positive employee engagement by maintaining a visible, approachable, and responsive HR presence.
- Monitor workforce-related concerns and communicate relevant issues to appropriate HR stakeholders.
Standards & Execution
- Execute established HR programs, processes, and policies consistently across the employee lifecycle.
- Ensure HR documentation, processes, and decisions comply with applicable employment laws, company policies, and HR guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation related to employee and HR activities.
- Ensure effective handoffs and documentation to support continuity before and after the leave period.
- Collaborate with HR COEs and business stakeholders to ensure HR processes are completed accurately and on time.
