Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Lead Data Architect to build our core data foundations and drive engineering best practices. Because we are establishing our data engineering capability from the ground up, this role will be pivotal in bridging the gap between business strategy and technical execution.

You will be responsible for evaluating AI-driven tools for data governance, designing modern data frameworks, and leading a phased Master Data Management (MDM) rollout following our recent transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Architecture & Frameworks: Design scalable, robust data architecture frameworks from scratch and establish enterprise-wide data engineering best practices.

• MDM Implementation: Architect and execute a phased Master Data Management (MDM) strategy to consolidate and govern data across three primary domains:

• Item Master Data

• Customer Master Data

• Vendor Master Data

• ERP Consolidation: Guide the transition and data integration lifecycle from four legacy ERP systems into the newly implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.

• AI & Governance Innovation: Explore and implement innovative, AI-driven tools to automate and define rules for data setup, data quality, and compliance.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into high-performing data solutions.

Technical & Professional Requirements:

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven experience in Data Architecture and Data Engineering.

• Core Tech Stack: Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.

• Cloud Platforms: Solid proficiency in Microsoft Azure (preferred) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).

• Systems Experience: Deep understanding of data migrations, master data modeling, and data modeling specific to legacy ERPs and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Strategic Capability: Demonstrated ability to establish data governance frameworks, design end-to-end data pipelines, and drive technical best practices independently.
