Senior Software Developers for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Develop, design, optimize pipelines. Review performance, reliability, memory, partitioning, caching, schemas, data flow design, storage layout, job scheduling and orchestration, error handling, logging, alerting, metrics, data models, debugging, dashboards, data quality, bottlenecks, root cause. Execute data transformations, write scripts and queries, integrate logic into workflows, work with high-performance object stores and cloud services, translate business requirements into technical specifications and data architecture, confer with teams and stakeholders, document architecture and technical decisions, create presentations regarding data changes, and implement batch and real-time data ingestions, and processing workflows. Identify problems, analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate unit test cases and validation plans. Use PySpark, Apache Spark, Spark, T-SQL, SQL, NetApp, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Autosys, Agile, Jira, Confluence, ETL, ELT, APIs, S3, Azure Blob, Parquet, Avro, Airflow, Control-M, Grafana, Prometheus, SQL Server, Dremio, EMR, Athena, Delta Lake, GitHub, Jenkins, Datadog. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience working with pipelines, cloud services; reviewing performance, reliability, business requirements, specifications; developing scripts, unit test cases; using PySpark, SQL, AWS, Azure, Jira, Confluence, ETL, S3, SQL Server, Athena, GitHub, Jenkins, Datadog. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $150,551 to $150,600/yr.
