We are looking to onboard a Pega contractor to support our engagement with one of our clients, with a tentative start date of March 23. The initial engagement term will be 3 months, with the potential to extend for up to 1 year based on project needs and performance. This will be a contract-to-hire arrangement: the individual will join as a contractor for the first 3 months, with the intent to convert to a Deloitte FTE thereafter.

Role summary

The Pega LSA is the end-to-end technical owner for a Pega program, accountable for solution architecture, guardrails, non-functional outcomes, and delivery predictability across onshore/offshore teams. The LSA sets the technical direction, governs design/build, and partners with product and delivery leadership to drive scope trade-offs and release readiness.

Key responsibilities

Architecture ownership: Define target architecture and solution blueprint (case types, shared services/components, data/integration patterns, security model, environment strategy).
Technical delivery governance (onshore/offshore): Establish operating model (ways of working, ceremonies, review cadences), control technical backlog, drive dependency management, and ensure sprint/release commitments are realistic and met.
Design authority: Approve/drive key designs (case lifecycle patterns, UI strategy, ruleset strategy, reusable framework), and arbitrate technical decisions/trade-offs.

Preferred qualifications

Hands-on experience as architecture lead on large/complex Pega implementations (multi-team, multi-release)
Strong in application structuring: ruleset/versioning strategy, framework/reuse model, multi-app layering, componentization.

Pega LSA certification strongly preferred.
Experience with large enterprise transformations and regulated environments.
Exposure to Constellation/Cosmos strategy and migration implications (where applicable)
