Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 12+ years of IT experience and strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, containerization, infrastructure as code, and production support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure while driving DevOps best practices across the organization.

Required Experience

• 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on DevOps and Cloud Engineering experience.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications and infrastructure.

Required Skills

• DevOps Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bamboo.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Source Control: Git, Bitbucket, GitHub.
• Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog.
• Scripting: Python, Shell Scripting, PowerShell.
• Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS), Windows Server.
• Security: DevSecOps, vulnerability management, IAM, secrets management.
• Networking: DNS, Load Balancers, VPN, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
• Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Implement security best practices and DevSecOps controls throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to streamline release processes.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Optimize cloud costs, system performance, and deployment efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish DevOps standards and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-cloud environments.
• Experience in microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd).
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD) preferred.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
