Neos is Seeking a Salesforce Administrator/Developer for a contract role for with our client in Austin, TX.

Hybrid role - must be onsite 1 day a week (Wed) at 111 W. 17th St. Austin, TX 78701

Description
Collaborate with the Salesforce Product Owner to translate product vision, epics, and user stories into technical Salesforce solutions
Design, configure, and develop Salesforce automation supporting legislative tracking, revenue estimation, and fiscal management workflows
Build and operationalize AI Agents using Agentforce on Data Cloud, including data models, prompts, logic, integrations, and governance controls
Partner directly with financial analysts and spreadsheet-driven teams to modernize labor-intensive fiscal processes and data flows
Develop and maintain Flows, validation rules, custom objects, Apex, and Lightning Web Components as required
Integrate Salesforce with spreadsheets, external data sources, and financial analysis tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
Support sprint execution by providing technical input during backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives
Conduct unit testing, support acceptance testing, and remediate defects to ensure solutions are production-ready
Ensure compliance with security, audit, accessibility, and public-sector standards throughout the SDLC
Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and long-term platform optimization across legislative cycles

Required Skills & Experience

Salesforce & Technical
Salesforce Administration and Development experience (configuration, Flows, Apex, LWC)
Experience designing data models and working with complex, data-heavy applications
Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud and AI-driven automation concepts
Experience integrating Salesforce with spreadsheets, reporting tools, or external systems
Understanding of release management, sandbox strategy, and deployment best practices

Agile & Delivery
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments alongside Product Owners and Scrum teams
Ability to interpret epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria into technical implementations
Participation across all phases of the SDLC, including testing and production support

Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
Strong requirements interpretation skills with business SMEs, analysts, and fiscal teams
Ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders
Experience supporting compliance-driven or highly governed environments

Preferred / Nice to Have
Salesforce Public Sector Solution (PSS), Government Cloud, or similar regulated Salesforce orgs
Experience supporting financial, fiscal management, or legislative systems
Exposure to AI enablement, prompt engineering, or automation design (Agentforce experience not required due to tool newness)
Public sector or government project experience
