JOB TITLE: Associate Boomi Developer
JOB LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid)
WAGE RANGE*: $46 - 51/hr. JOB NUMBER: 21378

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Flexible team player
• Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
• Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills

• In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle
• High proficiency with Dell Boomi technologies
• Proficiency programming in more than one object-oriented programming language preferably JAVA
• Proficiency in database knowledge in; SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, dBase, MS Access, etc
• Proven ability to implement at least 2 to 3 full integration projects involving on-premise and Cloud applications
• Functional experience with ERP systems (i.e. NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio
• Proficiency using in ESB tools
• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
• Proficiency in Web Services (REST); Groovy, XSLT or JAXB, Hibernate, and Spring Framework
• Proficiency in Web Services (SOAP) XML, and Flat Files (CSV, Fixed-Width)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etc.
• Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology
• Specific tools, languages and specialty skills may vary

Required Education:
HS Diploma or GED

Highlights:

• Familiarity with X12 or HL7 transactions
• Working in an Edifecs environment which has a similar design paradigm vs. actual Boomi work.
• Must be willing to learn Edifecs vs. developing in Boomi.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this role, you will work with clients to understand business requirements, gather information about various source systems, and build the actual integrations which connects their data sources together. As an integration's developer, you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment to manage competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and deliver high quality work. This position is responsible for analysis, design, development, and implementation of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) applications for internal company use and for clients. In addition, this position will take on the responsibility for:

Essential Functions:

• Advise on architectural strategies and best practice approaches.
• Own the Boomi development process from requirements gathering to full implementation
• Provide regular updates of project progress and outstanding issues.
• Participate in the design and planning of projects in conjunction with the external partners, other IT, and business users.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with Boomi integrations
• Collaborate with development team to architect efficient and stable production integrations
• Document and analyze current business processes and underlying systems/applications
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with technical peers and business users
• Establish strong business partnerships through direct involvement in solution consulting, technical design and business engagements
