MediSpend Implementation Oversight Lead Only Visa Independent Candidate/W2)

Client is engaging an external implementation partner to deploy MediSpend’s commercial compliance modules. Client is seeking an experienced consultant to represent its interests throughout the implementation, provide independent oversight, and help ensure the solution meets the company’s business and compliance needs.

This person should understand MediSpend well enough to evaluate the implementation partner’s recommendations, challenge decisions when appropriate, identify gaps, and help Client make informed decisions about workflows, configuration, integrations, testing, and deployment.

 

Proposed Responsibilities:

• Serve as Client's internal advisor and primary counterpart to the implementation partner.
• Review the implementation plan, scope, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to identify risks or missing requirements.
• Work with business, compliance, IT, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure they are reflected in the proposed solution.
• Evaluate workflow and configuration decisions, explain tradeoffs, and recommend changes that support Client's operational needs.
• Review applicable data migration and integration requirements with the delivery teams.
• Help oversee testing and user acceptance, ensuring business scenarios are covered and issues are addressed before deployment.
• Monitor delivery progress, escalate concerns, and hold the implementation partner accountable for agreed deliverables.
• Support go-live readiness, documentation, training, and the transition to ongoing support.

 

Ideal Background:

• Prior experience implementing or overseeing MediSpend within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other life sciences organization.
• Strong functional understanding of the MediSpend modules included in the implementation.
• Experience translating commercial compliance requirements into system workflows and reviewing the resulting configuration.
• Ability to assess implementation quality and recommendations at a detailed level.
• Experience managing external implementation partners and communicating clearly with business and technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable acting as the client’s advocate, raising concerns, and driving issues through resolution.
