Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a Project Management Office (PMO) in Oklahoma City. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, completion, and closure of assigned projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing medium to extra-large projects using Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, along with strong stakeholder, vendor, resource, risk, budget, and change management experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects through the complete project lifecycle.
- Develop project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and implementation plans.
- Manage project resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Lead change management activities and risk mitigation.
- Develop project status reports and PMO dashboard metrics.
- Manage stakeholder communication and project meetings.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and deliverables.
- Facilitate contract processes from initiation through closure.
- Perform gap analysis and root cause analysis.
- Identify and remove project blockers and escalate issues when necessary.
- Facilitate meetings and group activities involving multiple stakeholders.
- Ensure project activities comply with applicable federal, state, and agency guidelines.
- Support successful implementation and formal project closure.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of PMI / PMBOK principles and standards.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project (MS Project).
- Strong experience with project scope, budget, risk, resource, and change management.
- Vendor and contract management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience working in a PMO environment is highly preferred.

Important: Candidate must be able to work onsite in Oklahoma City a minimum of 3 days per week, with additional onsite days as project requirements dictate.
