Hiring: Senior Enterprise Architect
Location: Downtown Houston, TX
Work Model: Hybrid / Onsite / Remote but has to travel once every month (Expenses Paid)
Experience: 15+ Years Overall | 7+ Years Enterprise Architecture
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to define enterprise architecture strategy, standards, governance, reference architectures, and long-term technology roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and technology roadmaps
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks across cloud, applications, data, infrastructure, and security
- Lead Architecture Review Board and architectural governance processes
- Create reference architectures, capability maps, technology standards, and reusable architecture assets
- Guide Domain, Platform, and Solution Architects on enterprise standards and best practices
- Evaluate emerging technologies and lead Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Drive technology innovation and enterprise architecture initiatives
- Assess current technology landscapes and identify modernization, optimization, and redundancy opportunities
- Manage application portfolios and contribute to technology transformation roadmaps
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders across data, infrastructure, security, applications, and integration
- Maintain Enterprise Architecture tools, repositories, and governance documentation
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of IT experience with 7+ years in Enterprise Architecture
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture principles, governance, standards, and frameworks
- Hands-on experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as LeanIX, iServer, or similar
- Strong Data Platform Architecture experience across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and multi-cloud environments
- TOGAF certification with hands-on experience applying TOGAF principles
- Experience across infrastructure, security, applications, data, and integration architecture
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and architectural governance skills
- Knowledge of change management and release management processes
Preferred:
- Experience in insurance, utilities, or other highly regulated industries
- Experience driving enterprise innovation and technology modernization initiatives
- Experience leading Architecture Communities of Practice
