- Academic Level: Graduate or Undergraduate (Juniors or Seniors)
- Degree: Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering
Required Technical Skills: - Foundational knowledge of networking (firewalls, TCP/IP concepts)
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Understanding of cybersecurity tools and concepts (IDS, EDR, NDR, SIEM)
- Exposure to technical security controls (e.g., CIS benchmarks, STIGs)
Preferred Skills: - Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Scripting experience with Python or PowerShell
- Coursework, projects, or internships related to cybersecurity, networking, or system security
- Interest in security engineering, architecture, or automation
