Duck Creek Architect

Introduction:

Enterprise Architects with mandatory Duck Creek experience and strong P&C insurance domain expertise. The role focuses on candidates with hands-on involvement in insurance package implementations and integration services. We are looking for individuals with cloud, ERP exposure, and modern data architecture knowledge, along with AI/GenAI awareness and governance experience. Candidates should have experience in architecture frameworks and tools like Ardoq, as well as strong stakeholder communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Duck Creek experience to architect and design P&C insurance solutions
• Lead and guide teams in implementing insurance package solutions
• Integrate Duck Creek suite (Claims, Policy, Billing) with other systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure architecture alignment with business goals and objectives
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in insurance technology

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Strong Financial Services and Insurance domain knowledge
• Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance experience is required
• Mandatory experience with Duck Creek
• Experience with insurance package implementation
• Knowledge of integration services
• Proficiency with technology platforms and frameworks including AWS, OCI, Azure, ERP systems (Workday, Oracle ERP, PeopleSoft), data lakehouse concepts, data mesh architectures, security frameworks, and AI/GenAI concepts (e.g., RAG)
• Experience with architecture frameworks and APM tools such as Ardoq
• Strong experience in Corporate Finance, HR, or Legal/Risk/Compliance
• Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good leadership and motivational skills
• Experience in system architecture

Preferred Skills:

• Good to have knowledge of specialty lines (Medical Professional Liability)
