Location: Culver City, CA (100% Onsite)

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) & Databricks Solution Architect to support an enterprise SAP BDC Proof of Concept. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP BDC, SAP Datasphere, Databricks, and AI/ML, along with the ability to lead architecture decisions, define implementation best practices, and guide enterprise POC initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/ML use cases using Databricks, including model development, experimentation, validation, tuning, and deployment.
• Work with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and SAP Datasphere data products to prepare data for AI/ML workloads.
• Define best practices for data engineering, feature engineering, model development, ML lifecycle management, and productionization.
• Provide technical guidance on Databricks architecture, Delta Lake, performance, scalability, and governance.
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources for analytics and AI/ML use cases.
• Translate business requirements into practical AI/ML solutions, particularly for Finance Analytics, FP&A, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
• Lead the SAP BDC/Databricks Proof of Concept (POC) independently and recommend scalable implementation patterns.
• Collaborate with SAP BDC, Finance, and technical teams to define architecture and implementation approaches.
• Mentor customer teams and serve as the technical SME for AI/ML and Databricks.

Required Skills

• Hands-on implementation experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Databricks AI/ML.
• Strong Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with MLflow and ML model lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Datasphere, including:
  • Data Modeling
  • Replication & Transformation Flows
  • Data Products
  • BDC Connect / Delta Sharing
• Strong understanding of Databricks architecture and Delta Lake.
• Experience with predictive analytics, time-series forecasting, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, tuning, and deployment.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines for ML workloads.
• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, CDS Views, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is preferred.
• Customer-facing solution architecture and technical leadership experience.
• Ability to independently lead an enterprise POC and recommend implementation best practice
