Project Manager will provide project management oversight for the design, configuration, staff training and implementation.
Requirements include: Strong management and leadership skills, the ability to set and maintain adherence to project goals with internal team and IT vendor, maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports for executive management and the board, coordinating project team members and developing and tracking schedules and individual responsibilities, implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI) required with demonstrated experience in effective team building, and communication skills, knowledge and experience in successfully executing Software as a Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) implementation with strong vendor management skills, experience assisting Commonwealth of Virginia agencies in planning, developing, and validating functional and technical requirements to support the implementation of IT solutions.
Required/Desired Skills
Cloud & SaaS Expertise: Strong background in planning, executing, and managing cloud-hosted SaaS implementation projects.
Analytical & Organizational Expertise: Strong ability to analyze complex problems, organize priorities, and make sound decisions under pressure.
Leadership & Change Management: Proven capability to lead cross-functional teams and drive adoption of new approaches, systems, and methodologies.
Requirements Management: Extensive experience guiding business and IT stakeholders through discovery and documentation of business and technical requirements.
Project Management Methodologies: Deep knowledge of Agile and Waterfall principles, with hands-on experience running Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall
Vendor Management: Skilled in collaborating with vendors and overseeing successful implementation of vendor solutions.
Certifications: Active PMP certification
