Sr. Platform Systems Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage end-to-end monitoring and observability solutions
• Administer and support tools like AppDynamics, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, SCOM, Entuity, BigPanda, WhatsUpGold, and xMatters
• Build dashboards and visualizations using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Grafana
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define monitoring strategies and KPIs
• Streamline alerting workflows and support incident response
• Analyze telemetry data for root cause analysis and performance insights
• Document monitoring configurations, procedures, and best practices
• Deliver reports on system health, capacity, and alert trends

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in enterprise monitoring and observability
• Proficiency with monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, etc.)
• Experience with alerting and event correlation tools (e.g., xMatters, BigPanda)
• Strong understanding of cloud-native monitoring (especially Azure)
• Familiarity with SNMP, network monitoring, and enterprise infrastructure
• Knowledge of Windows and UNIX/Linux systems
• Ability to translate telemetry into actionable business insights

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., Remedy, Helix)
• Familiarity with dashboarding tools (Grafana, Power BI)
• Understanding of DevOps/SRE principles
• ITIL certification
