Configuration Analyst (CMDB/CSDM)

Overview:

• We are seeking a Configuration Analyst to support CMDB services and configuration management activities.
• Applicants must already live within 45 miles of Austin, TX.
• Applicants cannot be traveling for work or vacation and must be available to work 5 days onsite in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee CMDB support services according to SLA, including requests to provision and de-provision CIs and regular maintenance such as ServiceNow Discovery.
• Perform CMDB Health Checkup, De-Duplication Tasks, Data Cleanup, and reporting.
• Support daily administration, stability, and performance of the CMDB.
• Manage CMDB Health Dashboard administration.
• Create and maintain custom and out-of-the-box integrations.
• Review critical incident outage resolution results and responses, including dispositions of failed changes due to CMDB-related issues.
• Ensure CMDB data is available and reliable to support Change, Incident, Problem, and other ITSM processes.
• Support CMDB CSDM and CI relationships.
• Support the CMDB Ownership Process.
• Support CI and Asset Lifecycle Management.
• Work with Transform Maps.
• Support CMDB analysis, reporting, PA, CSA, and Discovery activities.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• 3+ years of experience with IT Configuration Management Health and Data Management.
• 3+ years of experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
• 2+ years of experience with Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
• 1+ year of experience with IT Operations Management.
• 1+ year of experience with ServiceNow Discovery.
• 2+ years of experience with IT Service Management and ITIL practices.
• 3+ years of strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with IT Service Management and ITIL practices.
• Detail-oriented work and strong interest in work requiring attention to detail.
• Understanding of how vendor, contracts, and software licenses data must be related to each other and assets within a CMDB.
• ITIL Foundation or ITIL Practitioner Certification.
