Job Title: Senior .NET Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: Long Term Contract
Experienced .NET Developer with strong expertise in application modernization, AWS Elastic Beanstalk deployments, and WordPress/PHP development. Responsible for upgrading legacy .NET applications and feature enhancements, building scalable web APIs, managing cloud environments, and supporting WordPress-based platforms across staging and production environments.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Analyze, refactor, and migrate legacy .NET Framework applications to modern .NET versions (.NET Core / .NET 6+).
• Improve performance, scalability, security, and maintainability of existing applications.
• Develop and maintain applications using MVC, Core, C#, and Entity Framework.
• Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications using AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
• Configure load balancers, auto-scaling policies, and environment variables.
• Troubleshoot production and staging issues (e.g., HTTP 500 errors, S3 upload failures).
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Integrate WordPress applications with APIs and cloud services.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Leadership teams to ensure governance and compliance.
Qualifications include:
• 5+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong hands-on experience with MVC and Core.
• Experience deploying applications to AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
• Experience working with AWS S3 for file storage.
• Strong experience in WordPress and PHP development.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Experience working with SQL Server.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation.
• Experience with performance tuning and application optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
