Pharma Business Analyst

Position Summary:       
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Business Analyst Contractor with expertise in system implementation, support and administration to join our team. The Business Analyst, IT Applications serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IT team, ensuring technology solutions align with business needs. This role involves implementation and post implementation support for variety of corporate applications and systems.


Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Support system design discussions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with business users to elicit, analyze, and document business/system requirements and process flows.
• Review system deliverables for completeness, accuracy and applicability.
• Develop test plans and scenarios for user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Coordinate the planning, scheduling and oversight of user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate that delivered solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
• Assist in system rollouts and provide training/documentation for end-users.
• Document system operational details and develop system instructions.
• Support business applications including issue resolution and user account management.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst in Pharma domain.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to break down and document complex processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication, time management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a customer-focused approach.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Working with cross-functional and remote teams.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
• Experience supporting Compliance, Finance, Medical Affairs, and HR systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar framework is a plus.
